My, my, my........counterfeit Christians complaining about atheists, and vice versa. That's the beauty of The Truth in that we don't have a lack of unity. 8 million strong and in unison serving the true God all the while speaking the pure language. No backbiting, arguing, debating, speculating, criticizing, etc. Nope, just love, and worship done with spirit and truth.

Gerrit Losch was actually once an apostate.
by Julia Orwell ina jw friend of mine (who was one of my besties until i told him i didn't believe jw religion anymore) used to live in austria and for a while in the 70's was in the same congregation as losch.
they used to spend some time together in the ministry.
my jw friend tells me that he and losch used to often talk about how they believed the wt was wrong about certain interpretations of the bible, for example, how at the time the wt taught that the mustard tree used by jesus in an illustration represented an evil kingdom, and losch and friend didn't think that was right.

The important thing is that he's not an apostate now. He's a pillar within the Christian congregation.

More WT Propaganda: Low Paying Jobs are OK for Family Heads. Just "Don't Miss the Meetings!"
by Oubliette ingod, evidently, wants you to be poor: .
a newly baptized brother is married, and he and his wife have three small children.
one day, a workmate suggested that he and the brother move to another company that paid a higher wage and provided more benefits.

I see no one on this thread has taken Matthew 6 to heart. Typical.

"They're only human!" (the most common defence of the Governing Body)

Moses made a mistake when not giving credit to where it was due after striking a stone which then produced water. Although he was punished, he still remained as the chosen mediator and the one to lead the Israelites to the promised land. Still those that went against him were divinely punished for their insubordination. It's similar to our Governing Body as they're imperfect and will make mistakes, however it would be wise for us not to question their direction. To question them would indicate a haughty attitude which is obviously a symptom of spiritual malaise which could very well lead to spiritual death. May that never happen.

Man, I've been working like a slave all day and this thread took off. Should I even bother lol? I left off at page 2 I think. I started to log in and post during a conference call that was a complete waste of my time. This thread wasn't hijacked, was it? Guess I'll have to read through all these pages.

Raven, I'll have to get back to you tomorrow as a favorite show of mine is coming on. Please bump this thread in case I forget. I may come back on at 11 or so depending on how sleepy I get. Thanks for the heads up on our atheist friend. No wonder he's confused.

Ok, thank you Raven. Now let me ask you, can you point it out anywhere in our literature where it specifically states that Jehovah's Witnesses do not benefit from God's kingdom. Matter fact, let me put it to you this way. Let's say I'm going to the Ravens game as I've got tickets. Not necessarily box seats, or close to the field, but I'll still be at the game. I'm not a player, not a scout, not the GM. I'll just be some Joe Schmoe in attendance. However, would you deny my presence at the game?
